I just attended my very first workshop at The Ebell Club in Long Beach. It was called “The Wedding!” It was a fake wedding that went from the engagement all the way through the reception. We rotated through stations and had new challenges at each station. It was a lot of fun! Here is the first round of pictures I have. Thank you to all the leaders that helped with this day!
My challenge for this shot was “kissing”!!! These models are just friends but I think this is HOT!

This was the “bridals” challenge. It is a popular thing for brides in the South (and East Coast?) to have bridals done weeks before the wedding. It’s a shoot focused just on her, her dress, her beauty. I wish this was common on the West Coast!

My dear sweet friend was married last night at the Fullerton Arboretum. She looked absolutely stunning in her gown. I just attended as a guest (she had an amazing wedding photographer! I cant wait to see the pictures) so I didnt bring my usual camera but I still got some great shots with my “pocket camera” lol…ok it didnt fit in my pocket but it was in my purse! This was such a fun wedding and it was in the making for a very long time!! Congratulations Katie and Jake! I am so happy for you two!!

I had the pleasure of taking some pictures for friends of ours and their great big family! They definitely made me laugh…especially when I told them to KISS! 
I think it is so important to capture these moments with your family and especially with grandparents! Time goes by too fast and these are memories to last a life time! I love being able to capture and freeze a moment in YOUR life. Can you believe they havent had a family portrait done in over 15 years!?

I couldnt resist posting a few of my favorites from today. Southern California had horrible weather this week. Rain, hail, and even a tornado! Today is the first day the sky opened up and was just beautiful! We even have snow on our local mountains! More to com of this sweet couple!

This was truly the cutest couple! They laughed and giggled so much through our session. I could feel their love for each other through the camera! They were very sweet!
