I love photography for the obvious reasons. I love capturing a moment in time. I love capturing a baby or child just as they are today. I love capturing a couple’s love for each other as they say their vows. I love all of these things about photography. However, this picture here is why I LOVE photography. A photograph documents a moment in time. This mommy is 32 weeks pregnant with twins. She feels huge. She feels uncomfortable. She does not feel beautiful. This photograph captures just the opposite. This photograph documents the real beauty of her pregnancy. She looks BEAUTIFUL, glowing and stunning. I am so glad I made her do this. I am so glad I was able to capture this moment in time when she doesnt think she can make it one more day. THIS is what photography is all about. (and well, lets be honest, I love love love maternity shoots!) I am so in love with this picture.

Hello everyone! I wanted to share some of my maternity pictures. I have loved documenting this pregnancy so much! I cant wait to meet my baby girl but enjoying this time while I can. I have been very busy since getting off bedrest trying to catch up! I will be off all of October (except baby planners) and only doing Holiday mini sessions and baby planners in November. If you would like to be added to the email list to have priority booking for the Holiday mini sessions, please leave me your email address! I should have the schedule and details in the next few weeks.

The sunset this weekend was so amazing! We were relaxing at our neighborhood block party when I decided I had to go get some silhouette shots really quick up the hill from our house. It was too beautiful to pass up! I am so glad we did and my husband did a good job! Check out that rain in the distance! Very weird weather!

You may notice this blog is a little neglected lately but I have good reason! I have been on bedrest for the last 5 weeks and spent the last few days in the hospital. They stopped preterm labor, gave my baby a round of steroids, and finally sent me home on very strict bedrest. I am really anxious to get back to work so hopefully I will have some fun Fall sessions lined up for Holiday photos! Right now, I have to stay flat and keep this baby cookin! Be on the look out for Fall mini sessions!
For now, here is my baby bump at 28 weeks! 
I have had so much fun documenting this pregnancy. Since I cant do a full photoshoot yet, (I hope to have a real shoot at 32 weeks but we will see) its been nice to get a photo every now and then to see the progression! These are nice because I didnt even have to put on makeup! lol

Doesnt this mommy-to-be look amazing for being 32 weeks into her pregnancy? We had such a great time together and the pictures turned out fantastic! I am really looking forward to photographing her baby boy next month!

I am back this week from a wonderful family vacation in Hawaii. It was our first real family vacation ever! The girls loved the plane ride and were so well behaved. We had a wonderful time on Maui and it was great to catch up with old friends. I went to college on Oahu so its nice to go back and see everyone! I am now back and going through almost 2 weeks worth of emails and phone calls. I will get through them all as soon as I can!
I had to have a few maternity pictures done while I was there so here I am! I set the camera up for my very patient husband 
After photographing a ton of beautiful moms to be for the last 2 years, I am happy to have some of my own now!

I felt terrible when I had to tell her I wasnt going to be able to be there for the birth of her son. She was so understanding, as were all my clients I had to break the news to, but it still broke my heart! We had a great plan and I couldnt follow through!!
