This is my beautiful 15 year old cousin! All she wanted for Christmas was to fly to Orange County and spend Christmas with us! We have enjoyed her so much and will be so sad to see her go. We are hoping she goes to a college out here! I plan on taking her out for pictures one more time while she is here because we got a late start and lost light fast! Enjoy Miss Em!

This session meant a lot to me. This sweet mom has been looking forward to this session of her son for over 6 months! She always leaves the sweetest comments on my facebook page and just couldnt wait to have “Kreza photos” as she calls them…so so so cute. I felt a lot of pressure to not mess up! hahaha
As I was shooting, her son said that his mom made him cut his long hair off for the pictures. I told him that he looked so handsome and not to worry because his hair will grow back. His response was, “well it may grow back but these pictures will last a lifetime.” I busted out laughing because he was so witty! I always say that photos freeze a moment in time. He was right! LOL We had some good laughs and some great fun! He is so handsome and I know once he sees these he will think so too!

I shared an image of these two siblings earlier this week. I had a chance to share a few more before I head out of town for a week! This family reminds me of my own family and my siblings especially. You can definitely feel the love they all have for each other just by being around them! Enjoy!

I have been dying to get to these family images! This FUN family was from last weekend and I am just getting to them now. I still crack up at this big sister/little brother shot! They were HYSTERICAL! I had so much fun with them! I have a sequence of these that will make you laugh out loud! I just had to share what I am working on! SO FUN!

Laughter. That’s what it’s all about. I had SO MUCH FUN with this adorable family. They were cracking me up and they were so relaxed (which made me relaxed!). I have known these big 8th grade twins since they were very small. They are now taller than ME! I have always worried about my own girls becoming preteen/teenagers one day but seeing what wonderful boys these two have become gives me hope that it wont be as bad as I thought. However, their handsomeness (is that even a word?? LOL) is going to make their poor mama crazy! They are cute AND sweet and they always have been.
Of course we had AMAZING light once again. I am in love with evening light.

I tell my clients that the two most important factors that go into capturing a great picture is a) lighting and b) clothing choice. These kids had on really fun clothes but the weather was not on their side. It did not stop raining for them to get any pictures. It was getting late, after 5pm, and even on a normal day would be getting too dark for a natural light photographer. However, these kids stood out in the rain for one minute to capture them quickly and I got some great shots! I hope they had a very fun evening!
