Crystal Cove Intimate Beach Wedding | Newport Beach Wedding Photographer

This is my little sister Brooke. She married a great guy that I’m proud to call my brother in law. He’s a great uncle to my girls and super fun to hang out with, but more important is head over heels in love with my sister. I was very stressed about going into labor on their wedding day. Luckily, my little girl came a few weeks before the big day. I cannot even express how perfect this day turned out. The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful for a late October evening at the beach. The bride and groom were completely relaxed. My big girls were hamming it up as flower girls, and my new baby girl slept the entire time so I could photograph this special day. We also had the most amazing sunset.

My baby brother was the officiant and did a great job. A big help on the wedding day was Gianna from Chic Celebrations . She’s a fantastic wedding planner and good friend to my sister. She was such a big help. My friend Kelly from True Bliss Photography was a HUGE help to me that day. I wouldn’t have been able to get all of these pictures without her help. Thank you to everyone that made this day perfect.

Here is a sneak peek of my sister and my new brother in law on their wedding day! I am so happy I was able to be the photographer for this intimate seaside ceremony. We had gorgeous weather and an amazing sunset! I am so happy for them and hope they are enjoying their honeymoon!

I had the pleasure of photographing Sara and Toby’s beautiful wedding in Rancho Santa Margarita at the Bell Tower. Here are just a few images from that day!

I took pictures of the bride while my second shooter was taking pictures of the groom. They didnt want to see each other before the ceremony so I had him hide behind a door to hold her hand! It was very cute and Sarah got a little emotional. It was a sweet moment for sure!

Happily Married! I love all the color in these pictures!

I am so thrilled my doctor gave me the OK to shoot this wedding ceremony! I worried all summer about not making it and letting down my bride and groom. I had a good friend Kelly from True Bliss Photography stay and shoot the rest of the night. This couple looked gorgeous and it was a beautiful evening! It felt great to be back at work even if it was just a short amount of time! If all goes well, I can be back to work as early as next week!

I posted a sneak peek of this couple on facebook and I couldnt wait to get through the rest. As I said earlier, I was put on bedrest and was unable to shoot this engagement. I was so sad since I was looking forward to meeting this bride and groom. I hired my friend Kelly from True Bliss Photography to shoot the engagement for me and I edited the pictures. She did a great job! We have very similar styles and work well together. I spent the last few days editing them and I’m excited to share them! Im staying positive that things will start to look up for me and I can get some privileges back and do some shooting!! I miss my job!

The bride and groom are huge Angels Baseball fans and wanted their pics done at the stadium. How fun does this look? I love when couples get creative with their own ideas that help describe them..

Just Married | Part 2 | San Juan Capistrano Wedding Photographer

Here is part 2 of Becky and Ernie’s San Juan Capistrano Wedding reception. The ceremony pictures are HERE . I love shooting around the historic Los Rios district of San Juan. Their reception was in a very cute cafe called Cafe Mozart in San Juan Capistrano. The cocktail hour was held outside in the beautiful courtyard and then guests went inside for a delicious dinner. I was very excited to shoot Becky and Ernie’s wedding this past weekend. It was very overcast but the rain held off! It was a beautiful day. We started off at their church in Rancho Santa Margarita. Hello to all my blog readers! I am finally starting to feel better after months and months of morning sickness. This is the earliest it has started to fade out of all my pregnancies. This blog has been a little quiet so hopefully one day I can catch up on all I missed while feeling so ill!

I was so happy when last year my friend Mandy asked to fly me out to Indiana to shoot a wedding with her. This was my second time doing a destination wedding and it was just as much fun! The wedding was very colorful with greens, purples, and pinks!

we had strict rules in this church. no flash and to stand way back. I left the church pictures up to Mandy who had the 70-200! ( I need that lens!) I got a few that I thought looked cool.

The adorable bride and groom decided on doing a first look. A first look is when you see eachother before the ceremony and capture the “first look” in pictures. A very intimate moment captured! Photographers love first looks because we get all the pictures out of the way which leaves more time to PARTY!
