I love photography for the obvious reasons. I love capturing a moment in time. I love capturing a baby or child just as they are today. I love capturing a couple’s love for each other as they say their vows. I love all of these things about photography. However, this picture here is why I LOVE photography. A photograph documents a moment in time. This mommy is 32 weeks pregnant with twins. She feels huge. She feels uncomfortable. She does not feel beautiful. This photograph captures just the opposite. This photograph documents the real beauty of her pregnancy. She looks BEAUTIFUL, glowing and stunning. I am so glad I made her do this. I am so glad I was able to capture this moment in time when she doesnt think she can make it one more day. THIS is what photography is all about. (and well, lets be honest, I love love love maternity shoots!) I am so in love with this picture.
