My 4 year old daughter had her very first dance recital this weekend. She attends the Ladera Ranch Dance Academy and absolutely loves it! I was such a proud mommy and was happy to get her pictures taken before we left for the show! She was so proud of herself and so were we! I actually cried when it was over because I was so proud. I just love my baby girl so much!!

Here is part 2 of Becky and Ernie’s San Juan Capistrano Wedding reception. The ceremony pictures are HERE . I love shooting around the historic Los Rios district of San Juan. Their reception was in a very cute cafe called Cafe Mozart in San Juan Capistrano. The cocktail hour was held outside in the beautiful courtyard and then guests went inside for a delicious dinner. Enjoy part 2 of Becky and Ernie’s wedding reception!

I was very excited to shoot Becky and Ernie’s wedding this past weekend. It was very overcast but the rain held off! It was a beautiful day. We started off at their church in Rancho Santa Margarita. We were near Oneill Park for some pictures and then traveled down to San Juan Capistrano for the reception. Here is part 1 of their wedding day in Rancho Santa Margarita.

Hello to all my blog readers! I am finally starting to feel better after months and months of morning sickness. This is the earliest it has started to fade out of all my pregnancies. This blog has been a little quiet so hopefully one day I can catch up on all I missed while feeling so ill!

I was so happy when last year my friend Mandy asked to fly me out to Indiana to shoot a wedding with her. This was my second time doing a destination wedding and it was just as much fun! You can check out more pictures from Mandy here Mandy Leonards Here is a peek at pictures from the wedding this past Friday!

The wedding was very colorful with greens, purples, and pinks!

we had strict rules in this church. no flash and to stand way back. I left the church pictures up to Mandy who had the 70-200! ( I need that lens!) I got a few that I thought looked cool. ;-)

The adorable bride and groom decided on doing a first look. A first look is when you see eachother before the ceremony and capture the “first look” in pictures. A very intimate moment captured! Photographers love first looks because we get all the pictures out of the way which leaves more time to PARTY! :)

Wow, I cant believe 2010 has come to an end! I had a WONDERFUL year and I am sad to see it go. I cant thank my clients, family, and friends enough for supporting me, motivating me and helping make this a successful year for Shanna Kreza Photography. I especially thank all my photographer friends I have made over the past few years that have helped me grow and be what I am today! XOXOXO Thank you!

I have zillions of favorite moments personally in 2010 but for now I will stick with my business highlights!

The top 5 highlights of SKP this year were:
1. WPPI Vegas to meet and greet with other photographers I admire
2. My trip to NC to shoot a gorgeous wedding with my fabulous friend Rosemary
3. The boudoir marathon in Cancun, Mexico with some of my dearest friends (ok that was half a personal trip too!…ok maybe 3/4…lol)
4. Watching and photographing the birth of a BFF’s baby
5. and if I could only choose one more it would be all my newborn clients that have chosen me to capture their first year. I love love love watching them grow!

Gosh, there are so many more! I had a great year. Thank you to all who participated in it! I wish I could say I was doing something fun tonight but my family has been hit with 2 different flu viruses so we are under quarantine until further notice! :)

I am excited to see what 2011 holds…I already excited for a trip to Indianapolis to shoot a wedding in April, shooting a wedding in San Juan Capistrano in May, and lots of newborns and baby planners scheduled soon! I cant wait! Thank you for choosing me!!!

I WISH EVERYONE A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR FULL OF LOVE, HEALTH AND HAPPINESS!!! Dont forget: BE SAFE OUT THERE TONIGHT!

From our family to yours! Love you all!

Trash the dress session…many people ask “what is that?”…you dont really have to trash it but who wouldn’t love to wear their wedding gown again? Trash the dress sessions may be added to any of my wedding packages and these friends of mine were the perfect models for my new offer. You may remember them from when I did their engagement session last March here .

I had a ton of plans for this trash the dress session but Mother Nature had other plans. I was thinking of a beautiful field in the hot sun and mother nature was thinking DARK, gloomy, and RAINY! Oh my, did it rain. Even after seeing the forecast, we decided to go with it and I am so glad we did! I got to do something I have never done before. I had 2 people holding umbrellas over me because rain was coming from the sides! This couple was up for anything and I even got them to splash around in a fountain. They had a ton of people stop and watch them, honk their horns, and nearly crash. Good times! hahaha
