dancing in the rain | “Trash the Dress” | Orange County Wedding Photographer

Trash the dress session…many people ask “what is that?”…you dont really have to trash it but who wouldn’t love to wear their wedding gown again? Trash the dress sessions may be added to any of my wedding packages and these friends of mine were the perfect models for my new offer. You may remember them from when I did their engagement session last March here .

I had a ton of plans for this trash the dress session but Mother Nature had other plans. I was thinking of a beautiful field in the hot sun and mother nature was thinking DARK, gloomy, and RAINY! Oh my, did it rain. Even after seeing the forecast, we decided to go with it and I am so glad we did! I got to do something I have never done before. I had 2 people holding umbrellas over me because rain was coming from the sides! This couple was up for anything and I even got them to splash around in a fountain. They had a ton of people stop and watch them, honk their horns, and nearly crash. Good times! hahaha

I have photographed this little boy a few times and he was never too fond of me. I was waiting for this day…the day that he loves me and thinks I am hilarious! My Sweet Girl | RSM CA Photographer

Those that know my sweet 3.5 year old, know she is the most sweet, kind, and sensitive little girl I know. She is polite and kind. She is hilarious and witty. She is ALL GIRL!!! (aka-princess-cant get my nails dirty type of girl) I thank God every day for her.

When we are driving, she will always point to a great spot and say, “Mommy, that would be a great place to take pictures!” LOL She is always looking for the light, always looking for pretty spots, and always practicing her poses. She cracks me up. She found this new spot the other day and I took her back tonight right before dinner. The light was GORGEOUS at sunset and the location was amazing. I have a lot more that I would love to edit but they will have to wait until a later time. For now, here are 2 of my favorites.

I Do! | Orange County Engagement and Wedding Photographer

I am so very lucky and thankful to Rosemary Blizzard for asking me to come and shoot a wedding with her all the way in North Carolina. I kind of suggested she allow me to come and carry her bags but she insisted I shoot with her! LOL I had so much fun shooting this wedding and cant wait to do it again! I have a million great shots that I cant wait to share. For now, here are just a few! The bride and groom were SO SWEET and a pleasure to photograph. I have lots more to come, I promise!

{Beautiful Baby Girl} Orange County Newborn Photographer

This baby was EXTREMELY sweet. Oh my gosh, she melted my heart. She had her cute little tongue out the entire shoot. She made the sweetest noises and was so good for me. We couldnt stop laughing because she definitely wanted to leave her mark on every backdrop and blanket we had around. So so so funny. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek sweet Baby B!
