This teeny tiny 5lb peanut is the newest member to our family. My husbands cousin gave birth to this beautiful little girl a month early but she is strong and healthy! I cant believe my own daughter was ever this small. She was such a good sleeper and I had so much fun with her! I was so excited to use a ton of adorable new hats but this little peanut was swimming in them! Luckily a few fit!

I’ve been so lucky with all the newborn smiles lately!

This was the best moment ever! Baby was going potty on her daddy! hehehe I dont know why, but they ALWAYS wait to potty on their daddy! LOL

This little princess was almost 3 weeks old and VERY alert! We could not get her to sleep for anything. LOL She has the most beautiful light blue eyes! I photographed her big brother as an “older” newborn also (“older” by photography standards) and I remember he was the sleeper. I have a feeling this little girl is going to be busy busy busy. She didnt stop moving her arms the whole time! She would Houdini her way out of my wraps too! LOL She is so beautiful and I am very happy I was able to photograph those beautiful big blue eyes. Thanks once again to this sweet family for choosing me to capture your new baby!

Wow, I cant believe 2010 has come to an end! I had a WONDERFUL year and I am sad to see it go. I cant thank my clients, family, and friends enough for supporting me, motivating me and helping make this a successful year for Shanna Kreza Photography. I especially thank all my photographer friends I have made over the past few years that have helped me grow and be what I am today! XOXOXO Thank you!

I have zillions of favorite moments personally in 2010 but for now I will stick with my business highlights!

The top 5 highlights of SKP this year were:
1. WPPI Vegas to meet and greet with other photographers I admire
2. My trip to NC to shoot a gorgeous wedding with my fabulous friend Rosemary
3. The boudoir marathon in Cancun, Mexico with some of my dearest friends (ok that was half a personal trip too!…ok maybe 3/4…lol)
4. Watching and photographing the birth of a BFF’s baby
5. and if I could only choose one more it would be all my newborn clients that have chosen me to capture their first year. I love love love watching them grow!

Gosh, there are so many more! I had a great year. Thank you to all who participated in it! I wish I could say I was doing something fun tonight but my family has been hit with 2 different flu viruses so we are under quarantine until further notice! :)

I am excited to see what 2011 holds…I already excited for a trip to Indianapolis to shoot a wedding in April, shooting a wedding in San Juan Capistrano in May, and lots of newborns and baby planners scheduled soon! I cant wait! Thank you for choosing me!!!

I WISH EVERYONE A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR FULL OF LOVE, HEALTH AND HAPPINESS!!! Dont forget: BE SAFE OUT THERE TONIGHT!

From our family to yours! Love you all!

I shared a sneak peek of this gorgeous couple a few weeks ago. They got married on a very rainy day so it was only fitting to do a “trash the dress” session on an equally rainy day. I didnt know what to expect but it ended up being a lot of fun and we got some great shots! We were lucky enough to have a location that had lots of archways to shoot under. In some of the pictures you cant even tell it was pouring down rain on us! It was also super dark and hazy out so I did my best to bring the color and clarity back to the pictures. Thank you to the Mr &Mrs for braving the COLD wet weather!!!

I will be posting more images on facebook so be sure to like my page to see them! :) FACEBOOK

After a very busy season, I realized I never finalized my own Holiday photos for cards. This was my attempt at Kreza Family Photos this year. hahahaha

I know you recognize this beautiful family. They have been frequent visitors on my blog ;-) I just heard that they are trying to appear in every category on my blog so the only one left is to do a boudoir shoot! hahahaha I love this family! When I did this pretty mama’s birth photography session (watch her birth video HERE ), the most common comment I received was, “how did she looks so beautiful through 7 hours of labor?” As you can see here, 2 WEEKS after giving birth, she is just naturally beautiful. Go ahead, throw stones! hehehe

The little girl in these photos has grown up before my eyes! She was one of my first newborns I ever photographed. She took her first big 4 steps while I captured it on camera. I love how much she has grown! Her big brother was never too fond of me but he loved me this time! I was so excited! He did however get in the car and tell his parents he didnt think he was cut out for taking pictures. hahah I love that. This family has such a big heart and I adore them.

First, I must say I am SO BEHIND in blogging! If you dont see your family blogged yet, please know it will come eventually! Blog posts take a great amount of time and I havent had the time to blog all my sessions yet! It is killing me not to share everyone’s beautiful portraits! I do post random pictures on my facebook fan page so be sure to become a fan and tag yourself! Just remember to leave the images uncropped and watermark intact for everyone’s protection. :)

I thought I would share a full gallery of this adorable family. The “H” family booked a full session which means we got to spend over an hour together, playing, laughing and going to different locations. This gives the children time to take “breaks” from pictures and just capture them being them. I was able to show this family a large variety of images during a full session and I am so pleased with these. I love the outfits she chose and feel the colors really pop in these pictures!

Prepare yourself for a beautiful family!

In these set of images I was trying to get the kids to help me make mom and dad smile. They were imitating all my tricks I used on them earlier. It was so funny and I loved capturing these playful moments!

This was hilarious…I asked mom and dad to kiss so as you can see big sister went in for the kill and smooched her little brother! We were cracking up! Such a cute family!!!

This session meant a lot to me. This sweet mom has been looking forward to this session of her son for over 6 months! She always leaves the sweetest comments on my facebook page and just couldnt wait to have “Kreza photos” as she calls them…so so so cute. I felt a lot of pressure to not mess up! hahaha

As I was shooting, her son said that his mom made him cut his long hair off for the pictures. I told him that he looked so handsome and not to worry because his hair will grow back. His response was, “well it may grow back but these pictures will last a lifetime.” I busted out laughing because he was so witty! I always say that photos freeze a moment in time. He was right! LOL We had some good laughs and some great fun! He is so handsome and I know once he sees these he will think so too!

and these were just for me
