My 4 year old daughter had her very first dance recital this weekend. She attends the Ladera Ranch Dance Academy and absolutely loves it! I was such a proud mommy and was happy to get her pictures taken before we left for the show! She was so proud of herself and so were we! I actually cried when it was over because I was so proud. I just love my baby girl so much!!

June 20, 2011Here is part 2 of Becky and Ernie’s San Juan Capistrano Wedding reception. The ceremony pictures are HERE . I love shooting around the historic Los Rios district of San Juan. Their reception was in a very cute cafe called Cafe Mozart in San Juan Capistrano. The cocktail hour was held outside in the beautiful courtyard and then guests went inside for a delicious dinner. Hello to all my blog readers! I am finally starting to feel better after months and months of morning sickness. This is the earliest it has started to fade out of all my pregnancies. This blog has been a little quiet so hopefully one day I can catch up on all I missed while feeling so ill!

I was so happy when last year my friend Mandy asked to fly me out to Indiana to shoot a wedding with her. This was my second time doing a destination wedding and it was just as much fun! The wedding was very colorful with greens, purples, and pinks!
we had strict rules in this church. no flash and to stand way back. I left the church pictures up to Mandy who had the 70-200! ( I need that lens!) I got a few that I thought looked cool. 
The adorable bride and groom decided on doing a first look. A first look is when you see eachother before the ceremony and capture the “first look” in pictures. A very intimate moment captured! Photographers love first looks because we get all the pictures out of the way which leaves more time to PARTY!

Of course they are Lakers fans so it was perfect to get one in a little jersey. Can you believe this jersey is a BUILD A BEAR accessory!? hahaha It was so tiny and cute! I cant believe something made for a stuffed animal fit her. Can you believe that huge smile!? look at those dimples!
Little Peanut | Orange County CA Newborn Photographer
February 4, 2011This teeny tiny 5lb peanut is the newest member to our family. My husbands cousin gave birth to this beautiful little girl a month early but she is strong and healthy! I cant believe my own daughter was ever this small. She was such a good sleeper and I had so much fun with her! I was so excited to use a ton of adorable new hats but this little peanut was swimming in them! Luckily a few fit!
I’ve been so lucky with all the newborn smiles lately!
This was the best moment ever! Baby was going potty on her daddy! hehehe I dont know why, but they ALWAYS wait to potty on their daddy! LOL

November 9, 2010I had a great time with this wonderful big family this weekend. I was so surprised how great these kids were at just sitting there and listening to me. I think the parents were surprised too! They didnt cry or run away from me! hahaha I have a lot more to share soon! Here are just two images of the cutie patooties I photographed! They make me smile!

September 16, 2010You may remember this adorable couple from my engagement session with them in the Spring. here and here . They are finally tying the knot in November at the beautiful Franciscan Gardens . They wanted this canvas collage to display at their wedding reception, how wonderful is that? I absolutely squealed when I opened the box to find this GORGEOUS 30×24 canvas for them. It really is amazing and beautiful.
Disclaimer: I have to admit I am terrible at shooting products but I gave it a whirl!
My new favorite thing is wall designs! I love providing examples of ways to display your family pictures in your home. I can come to your house to measure the wall and give you examples or I can show you electronic examples. We can work together on designing the perfect space. Just remember to take a picture when you have it all up so I can see how it turned out! I take a lot of extra time with those enlargements so I like to see how all the hard work paid off! I always tell my clients to go large or go home. LOL Ok, I dont really say that, but here is an example of my fire place and why larger is so much better!
The first picture is a framed 8×10. The second is picture is a 16×20 gallery wrapped canvas. The third picture is the 30×24 gallery wrapped canvas. Do you see the difference between the 8×10 and 30×24? It really does make a huge difference!

July 24, 2010I just attended my very first workshop at The Ebell Club in Long Beach. It was called “The Wedding!” It was a fake wedding that went from the engagement all the way through the reception. We rotated through stations and had new challenges at each station. It was a lot of fun! Here is the first round of pictures I have. Thank you to all the leaders that helped with this day!
My challenge for this shot was “kissing”!!! These models are just friends but I think this is HOT!

This was the “bridals” challenge. It is a popular thing for brides in the South (and East Coast?) to have bridals done weeks before the wedding. It’s a shoot focused just on her, her dress, her beauty. I wish this was common on the West Coast!

July 11, 2010My dear sweet friend was married last night at the Fullerton Arboretum. She looked absolutely stunning in her gown. I just attended as a guest (she had an amazing wedding photographer! I cant wait to see the pictures) so I didnt bring my usual camera but I still got some great shots with my “pocket camera” lol…ok it didnt fit in my pocket but it was in my purse! This was such a fun wedding and it was in the making for a very long time!! Congratulations Katie and Jake! I am so happy for you two!!
